Seven Ways to Open Windows Task Manager

 Windows 7's Task Manager is a valuable tool that is packed with features that can help you use and troubleshoot the operating system. In this tip gallery, I’ll show you seven ways that you can launch Windows Task Manager.


Windows 7's Task Manager has 6 tabs:
 
  • Applications
  • Processes
  • Services
  • Performance
  • Networking
  • Users

Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del]  to bring up the Windows Security screen, which provides users with five options including Windows Task Manager. Just click Start Task Manager.


Right-click the taskbar and you’ll see the context menu. Then, just choose the Start Task Manager command.


 Press [Windows]+R to open the Run dialog box. Then, type taskmgr in the Open text box and click OK.


Press [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Esc] and Windows  Task Manager will launch instantly.

 Click the Start button and type taskm in the Search box. When View running processes with Task Manager appears at the top of the Results, press [Enter].


Create and use a shortcut on the Desktop to launch Windows Task Manager. Just right click on the Desktop, select the New|Shortcut command, and type Taskmgr.exe in the text box.


Create a Windows Task Manager shortcut in the Startup folder and configure it to run minimized. You can then easily accessTask Manager from the Notification area.
